Ok, so within a month of the RWD conversion my diff had already blown, turns out the 160 can't handle the power. So it was time to source the 180. Just so happens that JPP had 2 in stock, a plated 4.4.4, and a stock 3.9, including the larger hubs and shafts. So the day after I went straight up to Crawley and picked up the 4.4.4.
Got it all sorted, and on in a day, then the wait for the brakes began. It took a week and a half to finally source the Type R - RA 2pots, as these are the only brakes in my price range that would fit over the 180 hubs, in 5x100, got some petted and grooved discs off Japspeed too, and another goody.
I thought it would be rude not to do the FMIC, now I'm running a much higher revving diff, and not needing to worry about the so called lag everybody talks about when replacing the STI Item.
Got a few more things in the pipeline, so keep an eye on my posts. Hopefully get a few sideways pics sorted, as i finally have internet at my new home!
