I use my car everyday. In the morning on my commute to work and of course in the evening to come home again. Maybe pop round to see a mate after dinner, down the shops or off round the missus's. Then maybe go grab so food or a pack of fags or pop into town, go for a day out. Head to show's or mates house's that aren't 5 minutes round the corner. So yeh you get the picture I use it alot.

The thing is when you're out on the roads, no matter how safe and sensible your driving maybe, no matter how within your limits you may think you are, it only takes a split second or the tiniest mistake from yourself or another motorist and well a whole bunch of bad stuff can happen. Trust me I've seen it too many times on my various travels.

So what can you do? Well the simple matter of the fact is nothing, but you can try and make things better prepared for any incident you may come across. I've never like wearing a seatbelt you see, I'll admit it, its certainly not big or clever its just a really bad habbit I got into. This all changed however one day when a good mate of mine offered me a Willans 3 point harness he had lying around for my Mk3. I mounted it and instantly liked it! So much more comfortable than a nasty seatbelt digging in your neck and of course alot safer (when correctly installed of course) which I made sure of!
Anyway the civic came along and having bucket seats as your were with pre cut harness slots it seemed wrong not to get a set in there! I almost immediately ordered a set of TRS eyebolt mounted harness's from Regal Autosport. They turned up and I was chuffed, excellent product, brilliant customer service but when it came to me fitting them, it turned out the eyebolt was fouling on the chassis tunnel and after a bit of research which I clearly should have done in the first place it turned out that it was going to happen without welding new mounts in. I called a mate of mine, asked if he was still after a set struck a deal with him and promtly got to ordering a set of bolt ins!
A week later and my Scroth bolts ins showed up and I got back to work, all went smoothly and now they're all mounted up! Just got to wait for my matching steering wheel to show up now to really make the interior melt retina's!!
